Dachshunds typically weigh between 7 and 14 pounds and stand about 13 to 15 inches tall at the shoulder.

CAN I PAY AFTER RECEIVING THE PUPPY?

We’ve received this question a few times, and we want to clarify our policy. Unfortunately, we cannot allow puppies to leave without full payment. While we understand the concerns of buying a puppy out of state and having it shipped, we want to assure you that we are reputable breeders, not scammers. We know firsthand how difficult it can be due to the many stories of scams, and we truly sympathize if you, a friend or family member has been victim. Unfortunately, scammers have made it harder for honest breeders like us.

In the past, we’ve tried being flexible, but we’ve faced issues with scams or customers taking up to a year to pay the remaining balance. For this reason, we require full payment or a deposit before the puppy leaves.

You are more than welcome to fly in or drive to meet us in person after making a reservation, and you can pay the remaining balance at that time when you pick up your puppy.

What food do you feed your Dachshund puppies?

Your puppy is being fed two types of food, wet food, and dry food. Depending on your puppy’s preference for a variety of puppy food brands are offered. The brand of puppy food your puppy is eating will be on your paperwork. Your puppy will also come with a starter kit of food that will last you for about a week or so.

WHAT WILL THE PUPPY COME WITH?

Our puppies go home with all age appropriate shots, properly dewormed, and fully examined by our veterinarian. They’ll also come with a health guarantee, all health records, and puppy pack which includes food, blanket, a variety of toys, collar/harness, treats, and other accessories.

ARE DACHSHUNDS GOOD WITH CHILDREN AND OTHER PETS?

Dachshunds can be good with children and other pets if socialized properly from a young age.
